No Child Left Behind and Highly-Qualified Teachers

Charter school principals must ensure that all teachers are in-field (under state statute and as defined in the Course Code Director).

Furthermore, charter school principals must ensure that all teachers are highly-qualified (under the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.)

Ensuring, assessing, and reporting this information accurately and promptly is the sole responsibility of the principal. As a courtesy from our Department of Personnel Services, the following documents are provided to assist charter school principals with these critical responsibilities.
