General professional development services
In general, charter schools are responsible for creating, implementing, evaluating, and reporting an effective, comprehensive professional development program for their own employees. However, District professional development services are provided to charter school employees when required by law, or through contractual arrangements.

Services provided with federal funds
Charter school employees are entitled to receive professional development services from the District whenever funding is derived certain federal grant programs. The principal investigator for each grant program will ensure access is equitable and timely.
